IBM Redbooks Social Media Residency review
I wanted to write a review about being on the IBM Redbooks Social Media Residency last week, but my residency colleague Keith Brooks wrote a review on his blog that summarizes it so well that I don’t see the point in doing the same.
There are a couple of things I want to add. As I am not an experienced blogger, going to this residency was different for me than for people like Keith and some of the others. They have a lot of experience in blogging unlike me.
I walked in there scared as hell for what was coming at me. And the introduction round revealed that there were some experienced, strong personality people in the room which scared me even more.
I was, and credit to Colleen for posting this to her Facebook because it is spot on, way out of my comfort zone. But then, after half a day of sweating and stomachache it happened
The magic happened. We were discussing Social and I felt alive, in the zone and inspired. I got a confidence boost out of this like I never had before. It even inspired me in creating my own blog a week later (this one) and the boost is still driving me into other things. Thank you so much Redbooks team, residents and all others that made this happen.
It made me a Redbooks thougth leader 🙂
